This Sandbox & API Key Request page outlines the process for requesting access to the Senang.io Sandbox environment and obtaining API credentials for integration purposes.

By submitting a request for sandbox access or API keys, you agree to comply with Senang.io’s API terms, security requirements, and applicable policies.

Sandbox / Key Request

1. Purpose

1.1 The Senang.io Sandbox environment is provided to allow partners, developers, and integrators to test and validate their system integration before accessing the production environment.
1.2 The sandbox environment simulates core functionalities of Senang.io services, including (where applicable):
- Product quotation
- Policy or coverage issuance
- Payment simulation
- Claims submission simulation
- Webhook testing
- Status and reporting endpoints

1.3 Sandbox access is strictly for development and testing purposes only.

2. Eligibility for Access

2.1 Sandbox and API access is available to:
- Approved partners
- Registered merchants
- Technology providers
- System integrators
- Internal enterprise teams

2.2 Senang.io reserves the right to approve or reject any sandbox or API key request at its sole discretion.

2.3 You may be required to provide:
- Company registration details
- Business use case description
- Integration objectives
- Technical contact information

3. How to Request Sandbox Access

3.1 To request access, you must complete the official Sandbox / API Key Request Form available on this page.
3.2 The request form may require the following information:
- a. Company name
- b. Company registration number (if applicable)
- c. Contact person name and email
- d. Technical contact details
- e. Description of intended API usage
- f. Estimated monthly API call volume

3.3 Incomplete applications may result in delayed approval.

3.4 Senang.io will review your request and may contact you for clarification before granting access.

4. API Credentials Issuance

4.1 Upon approval, you will be issued sandbox API credentials, which may include:
- API key
- Secret key
- OAuth client ID and secret
- Webhook signing key

4.2 Credentials are confidential and must not be shared with unauthorized parties.

4.3 You are fully responsible for all activities conducted using your issued credentials.

4.4 If you suspect unauthorized use of your API credentials, you must notify Senang.io immediately

5. Sandbox Environment Limitations

5.1 The sandbox environment:
- Does not process real payments
- Does not issue legally binding policies or contracts
- Uses simulated or test data

5.2 Data in the sandbox may be reset periodically without prior notice.

5.3 Performance in the sandbox environment may not reflect production-level performance.

6. Production Access

6.1 Production API access will only be granted after:
- Successful sandbox integration testing
- Compliance verification
- Completion of any required agreements
- Approval from Senang.io

6.2 Additional security validation or technical review may be required before production credentials are issued.

6.3 Production API keys must not be used in testing environments

7. Security & Compliance Requirements

7.1 You must implement appropriate security controls, including:
- Secure storage of API keys
- HTTPS encryption
- Input validation and error handling
- Protection against unauthorized access

7.2 You must comply with applicable data protection laws and regulatory requirements.

7.3 Senang.io reserves the right to suspend sandbox or production access if security risks are identified.

8. Rate Limits & Usage Controls

8.1 Sandbox access may be subject to rate limits to ensure system stability.
8.2 Excessive or abusive usage may result in throttling or temporary suspension.
8.3 Automated abuse, load testing without approval, or malicious testing activity is strictly prohibited.

9. Suspension or Revocation of Access

9.1 Senang.io may suspend or revoke sandbox or API access if:
- You breach API terms or policies
- Security vulnerabilities are identified in your integration
- Credentials are misused
- Regulatory or compliance requirements are not met

9.2 Upon revocation, you must cease all API calls and securely delete issued credentials.

10. Changes to Sandbox & Access Policy

10.1 Senang.io may modify the sandbox environment, access requirements, or API issuance process at any time.
10.2 Continued use of sandbox or API access constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
